MS-PEP data analyzer is an R-Shiny app developed in collaboration with the laboratory of medical biochemistry at University of Antwerp (UAntwerpen).
In this tool, the raw data is uploaded (a text file with two columns: M/Z and intensity, separated by a tab). In addition, a known peptide sequence is also specified. Next, the tool will compare all possible theoretical fragments of the peptide with the obtained peaks from the spectrogram and filter and rank the fragments based on probability.
This is used, among other things, for determining the cut sites of proteases.
